cal pappasI'm kind of surpised if he was suspended. ISS has been quite a gentleman the past few years. He has calmed down considerably from the confrontational days of 6-7 years ago and his elk and Vietnam rants. I've enjoyed his posts for the most part.

Not sure yet about him.
Others have been given cooling off periods and it worked.
Sometime cooling off periods do not seem to work, so the ban becomes permanent.
I really hate to do this, but ultimately individuals have to learn that actions against others do have consequences.

JCHBSaeed to my mind the AR crowd does not suffer fools (or bullies) easily and can self-police most of the time. It is precisely this robust debate that makes AR better than the sponsored/heavily moderated sites. I don't know ISS from a bar of soap but it would seem harsh to bar him completely. I remember a few threads where his grand assertions were quickly cut down to size by the rest of the members.I can't imagine what he could do to get himself booted permanently??

He called my wife a tramp on AR some years ago.
He has not met her nor does he know her.
On a different occasion I called his hand on his infamous claims of killing over 30 Boon and Crockett elk.
I received a lengthy PM from him inviting me to SCI so he could teach me a lesson in manners and then he eluded to inform me of his hand to hand combat skills
I forwarded the PM to Saeed and Don

The issue there is the Political Forum. I went in there once and posted something about a US Supreme Court ruling and read over a few other threads. I have never been back.
