When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I suggest we start a church of the Great Smoke. If we were good and served good Q after the Sunday Service, we'd grow in a hurry in Texas. Similar to regular church, but the Smoke is real. Smiler

I love a good barbecue just as much as the next man but if it was a religion and consumed in a church then the Eucharist would have to be conducted with Tums and Mylanta. Smiler

Well being raised as a protestant in Wichita Falls in late 50's/early 60's ,after Sunday service it was required that all the family went to Underwood's BBQ for dinner.(lunch for yankees).Part of the ritual combining religious sweat, family values + meetings along with Q.So,yes,I would call it a religious experience.Remember, anything goes in heaven.

Never mistake motion for action.

I guess you could call your new religion barbecism, and its followers barbecuists.
