I was wondering what are your experiences with Delta airlines?

I have more than a half million miles on Delta. Now they have pulled out of my local airport!
I stopped flying for work for a few years and in the last year have started again. Flying is no longer fun. I see little diference in the airlines now. I hear things about Southwest but have not flown them.

I like Delta, they didn't charge me $15 a bag as we checked in at Houston, two weeks ago!

On the return trip on Continental, I was charged $30 bucks for our two bags!
