Has anyone ever used a device like this?

If so, what would you say about it? I am looking for a simple option to use in my standard grill for cold smoking cheeses and meats.

Yes. I've used it to cold-smoke cheese. Works fine.

If you wanted a "light" smoke on meat, it would work. I have used it before grilling burgers. I have also used it on tenderloin before grilling them.

This past weekend I had some cold smoked cream cheese. It was extremely tasty. I need to make some. I am also wondering how bluegill fillets from my pond would do...
