And say a silent "thanks" to the brave servicemen and women who made an installment payment of your cost of Freedom sixty-nine years ago today.

salute Lest we ever forget the Greatest Generation, I fear that if the same hardship was to occur now we would all be speaking Japanese in months.

Don't forget those that are writing the checks today. Anyone that joins in this time of uncertainty lives upto that standard of bravery those them established.

What I find interesting is that the Japanese own most of the Hawaiian property today. At any rate, these are a bunch of very brave people that gave everything they could to protect America during that terrible attack.

On the subject of Pearl, how's this for spooky.

A few days ago, I was buying some (Africa) hunting books on our site.

I have an especial love of things like first editions and/or inscribed or signed books.

I found a Foran book I wanted to buy for Susan and it was espesially nice that it was inscribed "To (name) survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack"

It was only after I'd bought it that I realised it was the anniversary of the atrocity.

spooky huh! Eeker
