Do we really need to continue turning our clocks forwards and backwards twice a year? Does it make any sense? What's the real benefit? I'm ready to stop the nonsense. I would be happy to go along with the majority and leave it one way or the other, year round.

Maybe not so much for you southerners, but maximizes day light for us, business and pleasure. Summers are pretty short and we need to make the most of it. Pain in the ass changing, but I'd miss it. Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. There was just an article on the internet about a study done on DST. It said that business enjoyed almost a 1% increase in spending for the first month after changing the clocks forward in the spring. The bad thing was that they also found a 3% decrease in spending in the first month after changing the clock's back in the fall. They also documented a significant loss in American worker productivity in the first week after the change to DST. As my ex wife was so fond of repeating that it was so rich guys had another hour on the golf course at the expense of little kids sitting in the dark at the school bus stop. Actually I have been told that Arizona voted on it + they do not have a DST change;same time all year.It would be nice if it were put to a vote.Just about everyone you talk to hates it. Never mistake motion for action.

Hawaii doesn't observe daylight savings time either. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

I'm firmly in the "quit changing the damn clock" crowd. I don't give a damn if they keep it ahead or back an hour, just pick one and leave it alone. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Make one hour ahead permanent. Call it National daylight time. NET NCT NMT NPT. Never did care for winter darkness at 4:45. Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

I like DST. When I was a kid, I used to pray that Dad would forget to spring forward, and that, being too late for church, we would all go to A&W for burgers and root beers instead. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author
