In a kinda roundabout way, I think this applies. When my kids were still very young, my ex would tell them at Christmas that you don't have to BELIEVE in Santa, but when you don't, you stop getting presents.

Easter and the celebration of the Atonement and Resurrection of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the most important of ALL of the Christian Holiday (Holy Day) observances, including Christmas.

We are not Christians.

But, living in Dubai, with friends from all religions, we celebrate it.

This year by a BBQ by the pool, with shooting for the kids!
