Danville is a rural community in central Ohio of around 1000 people. It sounds like he had no idea was being targeted.

I'm guessing that isn't going to turn this into justifiable homicide. Walking up to someone and shooting them in the head, even if you are pissed off, should get you the death penalty every time.
