I hope the deer was OK!

I'll bet that guy was glad he had on his brain bucket. Those bicyclists come out here from the city to ride on our back country roads every weekend. They don't pay any taxes here but they sure do monopolize the small roads in their packs. As I have heard them described as "The guys who shave their legs + the women that don't."

Over the years I had several close calls with deer and one bear when bicycling.

Never hit one or had one hit me.

I am sure he is very glad he had his helmet on

Had my helmet destroyed in a crash during a race.

Trust me they work

My observations was that it was the deer's fault.

I thought that might be Mt. Lemmon. I've driven that road many times and never had a deer jump in front of my car.
