The obvious answer is because parents aren't doing their job and deserve criticism but that doesn't keep teenagers from fucking. I don't know about you, but I and nearly every other straight teen age boy I know and knew has one thing on his mind when it comes to girls and it ain't discussing the weather. Kids are going to fuck, you can't fool mother nature. Give those facts, and the obviously abysmal failure of many parents to do the job, school systems tried to fill in the gaps, but due to the nuts who seem to live with a sexless world view until marriage (if then) the school courses are laughable. Certainly abstinence works, but kids don't want to be abstinent as a rule, so why not give them ALL the information they need. I will admit that ANY sex education in schools (assuming they at least stick to the facts) is probably better than none at home but if it is to be taught, then the kids should be taught all they need to know. There should be an opt-out for those parents who think their precious darlings would never do such a thing. Yeah, right. I'll recount a short and true story. One friend of mine, and 2 acquaintances were driving home from attending an away High School Football game. One said his daughter. about 16, was going to the doctor next week to get birth control. My friend, the driver, kept quiet. The other genius said, "Well, all you are doing is just letting her know that it is alright to have sex". The other one said, "No, I just don't want to have my unmarried teenage daughter pregnant, like yours." The rest of the ride was very silent. I've got one son and two daughters, and I can tell anyone from experience, the old saying holds true: "If you've got a son all you have to worry about is one dick, if you've got a daughter, you have to worry about every dick in the world." xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. Failing? Not really, best HS in the US is in Dallas. Could all of our schools be better? Of course. When did you attend the last School District meeting? Willing to raise your property taxes to fund better schools? If parents don't "cloth" (sic) kids properly, schools will send them home, if they still can't or don't do it, the state, probably via CPS, will take over. First of all, your first stupid post in this thread was not a question so it would be extremely difficult for me to "avoid" a non-existent question. I'm good, but not Kreskin.  Second, referring to your second stupid post, I never said the word "evangelicals" was in the article.
