The show is a lot smaller than years past. They have the FEGA "gun engravers" and a small group of custom 'smiths at the show a well as a few knifemakers. At this kind of show if you find a good price, there something wrong with the piece. Mini Martini by Maurice Ottmar (washington smith). RF converted to 222 rem Most of the engravers brought one off stuff that shows their work.

I spent three days walking through the SHOT Show; I'm too foot-sore to visit this show. What else did they have? George

George I walked through the show in 2 1/2 hrs on Friday. I may go back Sunday. A lot of nice customs. Bought SDHughs third book. Talked to Mr Kobe and Gary Goudy. I'll have to check my 1909 mini mauser. stock was attributed to Gary Goudy but I don't remember seeing marking inside. Ms. Fisher, S. Bisio, F Nelson, and a few more . saw a few Guide/cigarette mausers. I'm a sucker for octagon barrels. Must have been 6-8 pythons and a few Anacondas and Diamondbacks there.
