I remember reading in Brownell's Gunsmith Kinks book at the time right after Chernobyl that some gunsmiths on the west coast used rainwater in their bluing tanks + due to some of the fallout, some of their customers liked the glow in the dark barrels as a nice touch.

So now, let's discuss Fukushima. A work in progress.

Problem with Fukushima is it's will still be sitting on the beach in a tsunami area..

A hundred years is nothing in terms of radioactivity, somebody else will have to deal with it, not that far in the future. That elephants foot isn't going anywhere.
