Went to school with Barney and we still remain friends. Barney was President of the Senate at Texas A&M in 1966-67. He jokenly said he had to lower himself to get his law degree at OU. Barney remained loyal to his hometown of Burkburnett and practiced there and finished his career as a State District Judge. Some of you may have seen his firetruck or weapons carrier at the tailgate parties before the Aggie games. Barney is being inducted into the Aggie Hall of Honors. It couldn't happen to a better person. https://www.timesrecordnews.co...ll-honor/7157033001/

Kinda strange that it doesn't work. Your link works. I think Barney's best attribute is he makes everybody feel special.

I'm from Wichita Falls + every year in the 60s we would go to Burkburnett for the "Boomtown" rodeo. Fond memories. Never mistake motion for action.

I went to Reagan, Zundy, and one year at old High before finishing out in Burkburnett. Lots of fond memories. Still have several friends still in the area.
