Finally I got my 223 savage model 25 back, After the first gunsmith took better than 5 1/2 months and did nothing but give me a bunch of bull,I took rifle down state to a gun smith I'm familiar with, he sent it back to savage and within six weeks I have it back new bolt no charge. Now thats what I call service.

I sold a lot of their model 340's in the 80s in 223. They were good rifles. It's a shame that some "gunsmiths" can ruin the reputation of others. Glad you had a happy ending to your story.
