He said he noticed that my wife was listed. A doctor owed her a partial refund five years ago and couldn't find us. She just filed the documents to receive about $50 from the State of Texas.

I used this site some years ago, not knowing if I would get a hit, and sure enough, I found that my father (deceased) was owed a small refund on a policy he'd bought--don't remember the details.

It wasn't much--maybe $25--and I had to dig up something that showed his name and address that matched what was on the refund. Took a little time but I sent in the information and after a while got the money.
