The Sun, despite being a dire example of drivel for the masses, doesn't come close to some US publications for the harm caused by its existence.
IMO the Sun is more of a comic than a newspaper. Unfortunately Murdoch's empire also owns the Times & his influence can be seen there too, as he plainly has no idea what someone of more than average intellect requires from the media.
