Last two Zimbabwe trophies home now

BlankLast two Zimbabwe trophies home now
Brought home my last two trophies tonight; the Chobe bushbuck and my Cape Buffalo. Please excuse my mediocre camera skills - they really look better in person than I make them out to be. I'm a happy hunter, just looking and remembering all the fun I had.
The pedestal mount swivels on the base and I can position him however I want to fit into corners of different lighting. Back is finished buckskin colored suede.
I'll try to experiment with lighting and get some better ones to put in the trophy room section one of these days. He's as black as I remember and built like a tank. For now you get the idea of what they turned out like....

L. David KeithVery nice mounts blank. I love those Chobe's. SG Olds, for what it's worth, any safe made by Cannon (they have multiple brand names) is covered by their lifetime warranty. Mine was ruined in the catastrophic flood we had back in May. One call to Cannon in CA and they sent me a new one. It arrived in 8 days. Didn't even charge me for shipping, and at 800 lbs, I'd hate to think what that cost to TN.
Cheers,
David

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

BlankThanks guys. My wife is starting to roll her eyes at the thought of more (read bigger) trophies from next years trip, so maybe I'll finally get the OK to shoot more teeny-weenies!
As for the gun safe, Heritage is a local manufacturer in Grace Idaho, the quality and support is quite good, and the price was right at the time.

HuntNBgameI see you kept the back half of your water buck. If and when I go to Africa I hope to do the same. Too cool of a hide to leave behind.Nice Cape mount too.
