I am in need of a good rocky mtn goat shoulder mount cape.
On our BC hunt last month, my buddy shot his goat in the neck with a Berger bullet. I DO NOT recomend this if the trophy is destined to be mounted!! It was bad.

The goat he shot was an OLD big bodied nanny. She was the size of most billies we saw. With that said, any quality cape will do, billy or nanny.

Tanned prefered, but a well taken care of salted/dried cape will do.

Glad to hear it wasn't yours.

Might try emailing or calling some of the tanneries in AK. I know there is one in Sitka, AK as I took a tour of it.
