Hey J this freeze dried or soaked out? Looks to not be artificial velvet.

I soaked them in Research mannikins velvet preserve. it worked well.

Jerry, did you receive the deer fresh or did the client preserve it in the field?

He had it in his freezer for a few days but It was fresh Doug, I preserved it here in the shop.

Jerry what is your recommended field preserve as it usually is a number of days before deer out here hit the taxidermist.
I usually get the clients to ask their what they prefer and then there is no excuse.
