I leave for a Black bear hunt on Vancouver Island with Jim Shockeys outfit in 22 days.
I am trying to decide what type of full body mount to get, whether it would be a mount on all fours or standing up. I would perfer on all fours, but I dont know if it would fit through my door in my trophy room, as it has a funny turn it it.
So, my question is, how wide is a full body mount on all fours. I dont think I would have a big wood base, just standing on a rock (floor mount)

Depends on the size of the bear
If you can move an average chair thru any door ANY blcak bear will fit it's like moving funiture you turn it one way and pass it thru the door then turn it while it's up of the base and swing it around.

I built the wooden base with wheels on the one below with an outside width of 30 inches so it would fit through 32" and 36" door openings. Other than bathrooms, most door openings are those widths.
