I called in my first badger last weekend out in west Texas. Tuesday I drove it up to Bob Wilkins at Wildlife Artistry Taxidermy in Cameron, Texas. Going up to Bob's is always fun. He is always working on animals from all over the world......and he is fun to visit with. I took some photos this trip and thought y'all might enjoy an inside look.

These two greet you as you walk in. They are going to be rugs very soon.......

A shot of the front room in the shop......Bob's office.

This record book life size impala is one that Bob took. This is a BIG impala!
I like the pedestal mount javelina in the background too.

There is room for all of God's creatures....right next to the mashed potatoes.

Here are two more pedestal mounts, a sable and a zebra.

Here are a few small whitetails he did from last season.

These will all be finished rugs in another week. I told him he needed to make space in the rug room for one of my bears from the upcoming Posse Black Bear Hunt. (the other bear will be a full body mount-we already picked out the form-positive thinking!)

This is a wldebeest that Bob took and did a floor pedestal mount. It won a "Best" award for Texas.

These are a few of Bob's awards. He has won many state, national, & world competition awards including the "Best All Around Taxidermist in Texas" for 2002 at the Texas Taxidermy Association, Inc. annual convention. He also earned the coveted Provenzano Master Taxidermist award in 2003 for his expertise in all areas of Taxidermy.

Here is a shot of Bob....note the Posse Cap!! It was great to be able to get him to stop and visit for a bit!!!
He has "been there and done that"!!

Bob and Dotie are very fine people and good friends of mine. A hunter can't go wrong using them for their taxidermy.
