Very nice. When I was a kid I killed a lot of those, really a lot of fun. Nothing quite like them here in Colorado.

Brings back memories. I too took a bunch of those as a kid along with pheasants and cottentails. Very nice mount.

I've always wanted to hunt this quail species. I see a lot of them during the summer months while on the job in the PNW. Seems they love the irrigation canals, which is a portion of my work. I always wanted to take my dog and walk some of those same canals when season started.
