Hunted the Save in 2016. Took a nice giraffe bull (he was old and cull) because I wanted the skull and the hide for a rug. Rich Tabor, my PH, told me early on that we had to shoot him early in the day so that he could be skinned quickly, or the hair would slip. Fortunately, I shot him shortly after lunch one day and the ranch staff sent a bunch of folks out to skin him quickly. The hide has held up well - no hair slipping. However, the neck hide, which I use for a hallway throw rug, has a few spots that the tannery (done in Africa) had to patch. One of the patches (about 50 cent piece size) has come off, so I need to reglue it. Any advice on what product to use to reglue it to the hide?
