I'm buying a house in Houston that has a good sized separate pool house. It's all bricked with double paned windows but doesn't have an ac unit but does have a dehumidifier.

It will still be Houston hot though but is partly shaded.

With the dehumidifier and no ac, would that mess up any mounts for the wall?

Wouldn't risk it. Window unit -- I'm south of ya...

I'm having a hard time getting my head around a house in the Houston area without central air!

I think I'd get a window shaker...
