GraftonLooks great!
Love the bases. Just me personally but give me dark walnut to mahogany tones for furniture bases just about every time. Golden oak colored bases almost never look good to me. In my mind light oak or light maple bases clash with the colors of the animals. I know alot of people have oak trim and floors in their home (me too) and they want to match that. The darker bases look so much bettr IMO.
Those look great and really go well with the colors of the animals.

Michael RobinsonBoth look great. I think that a pedestal mount is the only way to go for a sable.

LittleJoeWas never really into zebra pedestal mounts until I saw one like in the pic and now I want one for sure. They are beautiful. Hard to explain to somone that just thinks it is a horse. Hopefully I will get one this July in SA.

muygrandeJerry, all the African mounts were just excellent and the pedestals shown in this post are really sharp. Thanks so much for your superior effort and it was great getting to visit for the short time today.
Certainly, hope to get you some more work in the future.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
