Just got my capes back from SA yesterday.My zebra rug that I had tanned over there came out a little brown.Is there any way that I can fix it with out bring it to my taxidemist?I am all ready going to owe him ALOT MONEY.

RSA Zebra are supposed to be brown...Only Tanzania Zebra are white and black...

No offense to Ray, but if my Zim zebra rug comes back brown, me and the taxidermist are gonna have a serious chat....

I have shot three in the Eastern Cape all where Very Black and White with very little shadow stripes. They all are Black White with Brown Shadow stripes.

My backskin zebra rug looks alot like tradwinds'. My Natal zebra had quite a bit of brown shadow on the stripes. I'll have to get to Tanz. someday for a blakc/white model.
By the wway, I think the half rugs look far better than a full rug. something about that flattened head, looks too much like a piece of heavy equip. ran over it. [Eek!]
