robthomJeremy Bentham - would this be legal today?
Just for 'fun', a question to ponder.
Jeremy Bentham was an eighteenth century English political philosopher / agitator on the side of reform & justice. When he died an old man, his will stated his body was to be stuffed and put on display.
His body, with a new wax head, is on display at University College, University of London. His head had to be taken off display becuase it went to manky and upset people. The skull is in storage at the University with some dried skin hanging off it.
Would this be allowed today? I know Lenin was put in a mausoleum at Red Square, and undertakers / funeral directors / morticians's technology has leaped forward but.....

Wildlife ArtistI don't know if its legal but probable is legal here in the USA.
There is a show called "Jackass" on MTV, in one of the episodes they went to a bunch of various taxidermy shops asking how much it would be to have their grandmother mounted when she passed away. I don't recall exactly what each of them said, but I believe some said it was illegal and others said they would do it, but only for a large sum of money.

L. David KeithI'd have to pass on this one. They could get a wax figure likeness done and let it go at that.
