Taxidermists doing Warthog Rug Mounts ?
I saw a warthog rug mount several years ago at a trade show and thought it was an unusual concept. Since then I have lost that particular taxidermists business card and have come up empty handed via web search. Does anyone know of a taxidermist doing these rug mounts? Thanks, Ty

Ty, I'd say most any experienced studio could do a Warthog rug. I had my Bontebok made into a run with a full head mount. Very unusual but unique. It shows the full beauty of the Bontebok's hide. David

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Ty, David is correct that most any experienced taxidermist should be able to put this together for you. I see you are in AZ. Contact Mary Hilliard-Krueger in Phoenix AZ. Her husband can mount the head and she can do the rugging.

Hey Ty,

Haven't been on the site for a while and just saw this. Shoot me a PM if you need a local rugmaker. I have been in the industry making rugs for over 22 years.

Kind regards,
Mary
