I would like to do a pedestal mount of my zebra and a rug out of the remainder of the hide. Has anyone done this or have any thoughts as to this idea? If you have any pictures please post them. Thanks

I can do pillows out of your back skin.
They were right you could shoot 2 one for the rug and One shoulder mount.
I am making a pair for the Leighigh Valley Chaper of SCI Banquet in March to sell at Auction.

Here's my Tanzanian zebra in a pedestal wall mount.

And, my zebra rug (under attack by a hyena rug).

I agree - shoot two. If you do a shoulder or pedestal mount, there just isn't enough left for a good looking rug, you need a lot of shoulder skin for the mount, and you are left with about 2/3 of a hide, which just doesn't make a very big rug. You will have enough for a few pillows.
