A Cape cape

I have been looking at the cost for my Tanzania mounts and decided to do a skull mount of my buffalo for looks as well as price. I have a Lesser Kudu that demands to be a lifesize mount.

I have been going back and forth between having the long pedestal cape made into a niece piece of leather for future uses, and selling the cape outright.

Any experience on what a dry salted cape like this is worth if anything? My taxidermist didn't know and didn't want it.

Second, has anyone made their cape into leather, and do you have any suggestions on what you made out of it that you liked and didn't like? Especially, didn't like.

Thank You

Sorry, I didn't measure it then, and now it's dry salted. If you PM your email I can send you a picture of the buffalo. It's a big body typical of a buffalo living in the up and down of the mountains.

If they are worth anything, please let me know. I just gave one to my taxidermist.

I got rid of it to a friend in need. Thanks for posting. I saw on Taxidermy net someone was selling 2 Cape capes for $400 each. FYI
