Couldn't agree more!!!!
We are downsizing our house in Austin and I put ALL of our taxidermy in 2 storage units at the pleas of my real estate agent and marketing consultant due to California buyers. Frankly, the folks from CA can F'Off if they are offended. I went into a local microbrewery in Austin this summer and asked for a stout. The bar tender said it's summer and they don't serve stouts. I said "WTF - I grew in Texas and drink stouts year around." The bar tender said he grew up in Kansas and drank stouts all year around. He said it was "All the f....... people from California that want IPAs" Which BTW aren't real IPAs.
So the locusts from California aren't only ruining taxidermy, but beer as well. Go back to Cali!

20 years ago I was selling my house in CA and building a new one. My real estate agent said I should take down all my taxidermy to speed up a sale. I refused, still sold it in 6 weeks. Funny thing though. A Hindu couple came to see the house. The wife almost fainted and her husband was visibly upset. They dashed out of the house like their asses were on fire. I thought it was funny as hell! I gues they thought some of their ancestors were up on the wall.
