was looking for that right life size mount. alot of good ideas out there but decided to do a rug. I feel a rug will show the color off the best, 'sides we have everything we need to do it. Its an odd color bear (atleast for up here). basically the black bear just has black tips and the rest of it is grey. Its kinda cool. We are gonna mount the head tonight and hopefully it will be on the wall by next friday.  A lesson in irony The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people. Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us... "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves." Thus ends today's lesson in irony. | ||

I hunt to far north for it to be a glacier bear. although wierder things have happened. We have been hunting out of Tok,AK for about a dozen years.
