I am about to mount the antlers and skull-cap from a hogdeer. Its not a big one - just a nice representative specimen, hence not doing a full mount. I have searched this forum and others for details on how best to mount the skullcap and have not had much success. Anyone have any ideas on correct angles for best display etc? ________________________ Old enough to know better

If it's already cut...you can't do a european mount, I love those. You can get some autobody filler-bondo etc. build ut the skull cat into a pleasing shape, also fill the cavity with bondo. Now you can paint the bondo, cover it with leather etc. or get a flocking kit and make it look like suede. Flocking kits are available all over the net. Once it's done to your liking screw it to a board, plaque, etc. Obviously you screw it on from the back. Have fun!! The chef
