I have an older whitetail buck mount probably around 1993 or 1994. The nose is looking very pale but not cracked etc. Is there any way to freshen it up just a bit and make it look more natural?

Clean it off with some Windex, dry and give it a shot of clear gloss. That's the easiest way to freshen it up. Now if the nose is not the best of noses, taxidermy work wise, your going to have a shiny turd of a nose, pardon the expression.
