Going bear hunting next week in Maine, and plan to do some coyote hunting over the "guts dump"... If I get one, I'd like to have a pedestal mount with the pedestal being a replica of an ACME anvil..

That would give me an excuse to go west and hunt for a roadrunner! (hopefully I won't end up like the coyote!)

Good luck on the coyote (and bear!). A few things to keep in mind: the summer coat on the coyote will not be ideal and there is nowhere that roadrunners may be legally hunted.

Frank,
I saw a roadrunner down on a ranch in Texas this past winter while hunting exotics. It dropped out of a tree, leaned back, (just like in the cartoon) and was gone like a shot. I seriously doubt anyone could have shot it, even if legal, especially if you were laughing as hard as I was at the time. Novel idea, though.
