Got a spot picked out to hang my whitetail I got back recently, but there is not a stud in the space, nor even close from what I can see. It's a spot on an outside wall in between 2 windows. Wall is sheetrock, and painted. Any suggestions to get the thing hung? I put a screw into the sheetrock and hung the deer, but it sagged, and I don't want it to fall. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Molly bolts will work well for a deer size head

Place it in the wall and turn the screw until it is tightened securely behind the sheetrock, then back the screw out enough to hang the head on it.

See the Hanging trophy's on sheet-rock walls?? thread. It provides lots of options.

Toggle bolt's all you need, but give some thought to slipping a washer (or some other idea) behind the head to give the hanger more to grab on to.
