I am not sure this is the correct place to post. If not, I apologize. I have 2 tanned and dyed ostrich skins. I would like to have them made into shoes. I want nice dress shoes, not boots. Do you have any recommendations? | ||

i just had a pair of deck shoes and a pair of short hunting boots made of croc that i shot by a local bootmaker who came highly recommended by a friend. this guy's work is EXCELLENT and compared to most custom bootmakers, very reasonable. $400 for shoes and ankle high boots. they are calfskin lined and style is whatever you want. i checked with all the custom bootmakers at SCI last year and they all wanted $700 and up when you furnish the exotic leather.
