There used to be a guy in Maine that was selling a product called reptotan or something. It was an "instant" tanning cream for snakes and reptiles. Anyone know anything about this stuff?

There are a number of these types of products around, if I'm thinking of the same type of product you're referring to, but their names are often misleading. They are preservatives that work on reptile skins for taxidermy work, but are not really tanning agents. They would not yield a nice, pliable, snakeskin.

It sounded too easy.
