Just got back from Quebec with two nice caribou. I cut the antlers off with meat saw. We boiled the skull with water and vinegar and got the brains and grey matter out of the skull to cross the border. How do I get the remaining hide and flesh off the skull (i.e. between the antlers)?

I was thinking of getting one of those kits from Cabelas to mount the antlers. Do any of you have experience for a newbie trying this on his own for the first time? Thanks.
