I just picked up my tusks from my taxidermist. (Roger Heintzman, Aberdeen SD) I didn't want them near the floor, so a table-top unit seemed appropriate. (We have dogs, I feared them becoming a chew-toy.) I wanted them displayed as a single unit. When we were discussing options, Roger was standing them up, balancing them on the floor, with the tips crossed. Eureka! That's how I asked him to build it. I'm quite happy with it. The trim is hide from the beast.
