Guys I have a skull which I want to soak in a bleach solution in an effort to get rid of its offensive smell. How strong can I go with the bleach? and are different types of skulls more susceptible to damage from bleach than others? Thanks for any opinions/experiences. GG

The other day a soaked parts of a scull in 50% peroxid overnight with no harm.. I had problems with smell inside the brain cavity. Drilled holes (not thorugh the scull), and soaked in peroxid. It turned out perfect actually.. But I think a good effect can be had with lesser strength when you soak them completely.. Never use bleach... you can not neutrulize it and it will continue to break down the bone. Peroxide is the way to go and making the paste is the best. good luck
