Any tricks to removing the smell from my caribou antlers with out removing the color? Strong odor on hard horned antlers.

Not sure if this is your issue.
I had a set of elk antlers that stunk real bad.
My taxidermist drilled several very small holes in the base just above the crown. Bloody smelly liquid oozed out. Then we squirted alcohol with a syringeinto those holes and flushed out the remaining liquid.
Then we let them air out for a week or so out side.

Thanks for the advice. They were rutting so it smells pretty strong right now. Will try washing them up and hope it fades away soon.

Mythbusters did a test to see what would best remove skunk stink.
Dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

Might be worth a try on your antlers
