A friend of mine has a need to find a reasonably priced Buff - cape for his father's large Kenya Buffalo. I gather he would like to restore it before his father passes. They hunted with Idi Amin SP? in Uganda as well. Also Brian Herne of White Hunter" fame.

Send me a PM. I have a cape coming for an old dugga boy that I'll likely just do as a European mount. The only reason I saved the cape was the condition of the ears -- they are literally shredded on both sides. So I'm not sure that will work for you.
