This Duiker is what you see.......now to find an appropriate setting for it in the house I'm building.

Are you going to build up the base with a bit of natural habitat - or leave well enough alone and let his magnificent headgear carry the show? (Seems funny to refer to 4-6" of horn on the little guys as "magnificent headgear" but he certainly looks to be in the upper percentile in that department.

I've been experimenting with artificial grass and styrofoam rocks as a base and do in fact have a place set aside for him.

Making the background is as much fun as hunting.....well...almost!

A local person was admiring one of my custom rifles and asked about the black tip and I said that it was ebony, it was real wood. The reply:

Actually I left a place for him some time ago. I just had to clear the guns away from it.
