I don't understand what the popcorn is for, that's a good price for a new high quality bear rug.

FYI Safari Room. Some States may prohibit selling any Bear parts...this is so in TN and caused by poachers that were selling bear gall bladders and bear parts. Potential buyers should check their State/Federal laws before making a purchase. You do not want to cross State lines if there's a violation: Lacey Act. And yes, $1,200 is a good price for a quality Black Bear rug.
Cheers,
LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Thanks for the heads up David...
Been in business long enough to know the laws here in Wisconsin as far as the selling goes..

This is a finish product and can be sold here.. Different story if it was just a skin..

And I will make sure the purchaser is covered before it is shipped anywhere..

tu2 With so many of the States having their own regulations, just didn't want you to overlook some of the gray areas. Hope your rug finds a good home soon.

LDK makes a good point!

Interstate selling of wildlife is full of pitfalls. Some items such as CITIES controled specimens it is actually illegal to offer them for sale in any venue that crosses state lines.

A guy got into big trouble adverrtising an old tiger rug for sale in a Louisiana newspaper that was deliverd tocustomers in TX.

Buying something or selling something in one state by residents of another where it is illegal can be a violation of the Lacey Act for both parties.

All that said; the last set of WI game laws I had allowd taxidermits there to sell most mounted specimens.
