bo-n-aro, You shouldn't be telling your clients to have the skins tanned in Africa. I've had alot of problems with skins done there. no stretch, stiff as a board, things like that. I had a guy tan his stuff there last year, (for the same reason, save money) I had to get him all new capes! they were ruined, real bad tanning. The price for his mounts got real expense then! the place you use may be fine but that's only one. Most all the ones I've seen are not good more like a pickling solution. I've been to different parts of Africa and visited different tannerys/taxidermist. I mount alot of trophies from Africa, it's not worth the savings you think you get. | ||
