my friend brought me a kudu shoulder cape tanned some time a year ago from usa,and im still not sure when the horns will arrive from rsa,how shall i keep it till i make it a shoulder mount,i heard ppl freez it?kindly suggest,regads

If it is dry tanned, generally they should be rehydrated as per instructions of the tannery. Usually in cool water with a little salt for about 20-30 minutes, rung out and stuck in a garbage bag overnight at room temp. then bag it up as airtight as possible and freeze it. It will last a long time this way. good luck.
