Has anyone seen or have a cougar fullbody mount in an attack pose with one or both front legs up, extended paws & claws ready? Like he's going to take a swipe at you?

I'm wondering if this can be done?

Hi Boss!

I've not seen one mounted like that but it shouldn't be that difficult. The mannikins are made from a dense eurathane (sp) foam and can be cut and repositioned pretty easily. The trick would be to find a taxidermist who would be willing to study the anatomy of an attacking cat and be knowledgeable enough to get the position correct.

And so if you meet a hunter who has been to Africa, and he tells you what he has seen and done, watch his eyes as he talks. For they will not see you. They will see sunrises and sunsets such as you cannot imagine, and a land and a way of life that is fast vanishing. And always he will will tell you how he plans to go back. (author: David Petzer)

Boss,

At SCI I was most impressed by the full-body cougar mounts by a guy name Phil Soucy out of Libby, Montana. If I lived in the States and I needed a cougar done, I'd turn to him first. I tried to find a website, but couldn't. I should have his business card at home...
