| If you have a taxidermist already ask him.I prefer a dorsal incesion which is down the back on long haired animals. Others use the open or belly cut which is down the chest and belly, out to the end of each leg.

| If you are going to rug your trophy the open cut is all you can do. Like I said, contact your taxidermist, he or she will give you the info you need.

| Leave the penis and scrotum intact along with the anus as best as possible, if a life size is in order. Just cut around those parts as best you can.

| Definitely talk to your taxidermist. The guys I have used are not dorsal cut fans at all but I know some that are. Do it the way he prefers. |

| Skidly, Take this into consideration, please. If your season starts Sept. 1 and if it goes until November, the longer you can wait, the longer the hair will be. The difference between an early season goat and a winter furred goat are tremendous. Just something to think about. |
