What kind of exotic ram we talking about? You have to be careful on how you clean it, factors: age, color of ram, & condition of mount. If it's not white the best way to clean it is with furniture polish. I use "Wilberts" it works great on hair and horns. And its clean , safe and doesn't smell. You can do it right in your home. If your intrested let me know. I've been a full time taxidermist for over 30 years, that's what I use on alot of mounts, really cleans them up. If it's got alot of smoke on it a good cleaning with "Cheer" washing detergent will work wonders, but I can't stress this enough, be careful with the mount.
